Forever Thanks

Revelation 7:11-12

Verse 12  …saying: “Amen!  Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever.  Amen!”

    Though we have barely scratched the surface of things we can thank God for, we reach the end of our week with an image of the praise in heaven.  This is a reminder to us that our thanksgiving doesn’t end with this life.  God is worthy of our praise forever and ever.  He never ceases to do things for our good and growth and so there will always be things to give thanks for.  Let’s become people of thanksgiving, never missing an opportunity to give Him the thanks He is due.  This way we will be prepared to do it for eternity.

    Father, we can’t thank You enough for all You have done.  Give us hearts of continuous gratitude.  In Jesus’ name, amen.
